Another subsidiary, Lasertec, manufactures cutting tools that utilize laser technology. DMG Mori's other products include universal lathes and turning centers. The company also provides technical services that include its spare parts business, training products, used-machine trading, and product service for the life of the machine through its DMG subsidiaries. Although it sells its products from about 30 locations worldwide, Germany generates nearly half of its sales. The company was established in 1870.
